How to get to Kielder Campsite

Please read all of this to get to our site. Take note with regards approaching the village

Important Information

We are the remotest village in England, it may take you longer to get here than you think.

We have no mobile phone signal here. We've asked nicely to have a mast erected, to no avail.

Please note: a Sat Nav via a mobile may not work after Bellingham. Some Sat Navs take you to the centre of the postcode, not to the site. Please familiarise yourself with the location of the site with the map above. We advise switching off your sat nav as you approach the village using the signposts to guide you in.

Travelling from England

When approaching from England, as you approach the village on the C200 observe the signs for the campsite. Reference points: Kielder chip and pin fuel station, drive on for 50 metres and drive over the small bridge. Some Sat Navs will direct you left, ignore and continue on for 100 metres. Site will be on your right.

Travelling from Scotland

Approach the site via the B6357, turning off at Saughtree to Kielder. The road is fine to take caravans and motorhomes, it does have passing places. We are two and a half miles after the border. Kielder campsite is 250m to the left after the church and the 'Kielder' sign.
