Kielder Campsite - Located in the heart of Kielder

A rustic, three star, independent site. Situated in a remote and quiet part of Northumberland. Dark sky friendly with no mobile signal and lots of space to relax. Our site is available to like minded walkers, campers, motorbikes, camper vans, motorhomes and touring caravans.

New for 2021: Check out our new Family Pods via our accommodation tab.

We are pleased to announce that we will be able to allow self contained guests from April 12th - May 16th 2021. Our toilets, showers, washing up and cleaning facilities will be closed. Pods during this time are also unavailable.

Guests who had their pitches cancelled last year due to Covid restrictions please e-mail your Booking Reference number and your preferred dates. [Subject to availability] We will amend and send. We look forward to hearing from you.

 To stay on site during this period, guests must bring and use their own ablutions and washing up facilities.

 From MAY 17TH 2021 our pods and all pitches, subject to availability, will be available. All ablutions will be operational. Covid restrictions will still be in place in accordance with Govt. guidelines at the time.

Revised booking terms will be available shortly, prior to 1st March 2021.

Latest Notice - Up to date important information about the site

We are opening on April 12th for self contained visitors only, all ablutions (Toilets, showers, washing up and cleaning facilities) will be closed in accordance with Government guidelines until May 16th 2021. From May 17th we aim to open ablutions if current guidelines allow. After this date there is no stipulation on self containment. Covid restrictions will still be in place in accordance with Government guidelines at the time.

New dates for the Dirty Reiver: Weekend of September 11th 2021. All booked persons on Kielder Campsite will have dates moved as a matter of course. You do not need to e-mail. We are unable to offer new pitches until we know where we are with the moved participants. We have been fully booked for the event for what seems like.....for ever. Further info as and when we get it.
