Welcome to Kielder Campsite 2024

A rustic, three star, independent site. Situated in a remote and quiet part of Northumberland. Dark sky friendly with no mobile signal and lots of space to relax. Our site is available to like minded walkers, campers, motorbikes, camper vans, motorhomes and touring caravans.

    We are a 3 star accredited independently run site. Nestled in the heart of Kielder Forest we are the remotest site in England. We offer pitches for camping, motor home and touring caravans, four pods and two static caravans.

  • Accommodation

    We have 25 hardstandings, most can accommodate an awning next to it on a grassed area. A reservoir was put here for a reason, there may be periods of high precipitation when the ground is too soft to accommodate an awning. For this reason we do not allow any vehicles, towing or otherwise to drive or park on the grass.

DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND THE CAMPSITE IS FULLY BOOKED FOR THE DIRTY REIVER EVENT IN APRIL 25

If you wish to book for the following events, participants and supporters only, from the home page go onto the 'Things to do' tab and click on the events tab. Guidance to book accommodation for the following events will appear:

The campsite it's booking calendar and office are now closed for the season. We re-open the bookings calendar: ONLINE ONLY for the general public on 1st February 2025. The site and office remain closed.  All contact will be via e-mail.
We re-open the office and site on Friday 28th March 2025.
