Kielder Campsite - Located in the heart of Kielder

A rustic, three star, independent site. Situated in a remote and quiet part of Northumberland. Dark sky friendly with no mobile signal and lots of space to relax. Our site is available to like minded walkers, campers, motorbikes, camper vans, motorhomes and touring caravans.

The site is closed to the public from 9th October - 20th October inc.

Open weekends in November for hardstands and pods only. 2 night minimum stay

Latest Notice - Up to date important information about the site

Our on-site shop is not offering snacks or drinks. However we do have some store-cupboard items and camping equipment if required. We always have an arsenal of Midge repellant, head nets and citroenella candles available.

We are running the site at a reduced capacity and have had to turn visitors away. WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCEPT NON BOOKED GUESTS. Please book online to avoid dissapointment.

IMPORTANT PLANNING UPDATE: THE ANGLERS ARMS WILL NOT BE OPENING UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. You will need to bring your own tipple. We ask all visitors to respect both the site and your fellow campers.
Bike hire available, no cafe service in the Castle, The Street Diner is available with limited hours locally advertised, no shops in the area. Nearest Shops: Bellingham or Newcastleton.
Fuel available from our self service chip and pin fuel station. [No other services on the site.]
Ralf our Heritage woodturner will be available next to the fuel pumps for craft purchases only. No other produce held or sold in his workshop....he's asked me to other produce held or sold in his workshop
