Accommodation at Kielder Campsite

Here are two of our family pods, warm sheds with a carpet, lights and power.

If you try to book and a pod does not appear on our booking list it means it is fully booked for the date or one of the days selected.

We have two static caravans for hire both are two bedroomed. We require a minimum stay of two nights, three nights over a Bank Holiday. During July and August there is a 5 night minimum stay. Please note our caravans are pet free.

The bedrooms are: one double, one twin.

This section should cover most aspects of pitching and camping in a tent at Kielder campsite.

Tent pitch size

There are no formal tent pitches, we offer a longitudinal field that has a track running through it. You select an area that suits you or that conditions allow.

We have 25 hardstandings, most can accommodate an awning next to it on a grassed area. A reservoir was put here for a reason, there may be periods of high precipitation when the ground is too soft to accommodate an awning. For this reason we do not allow any vehicles, towing or otherwise to drive or park on the grass. As you can see from our picture.

Save time... hop into a pod!

The site currently has two smaller pods 2/3 person pods. They are very popular and require forward planning to secure a booking. Badger and Deer. [map below shows location] We will be upgrading these pods to the larger family pods. FYI: Fox and Duck pods have been removed; they are being upgraded to larger family pods later this year. [As with all projects, this is not set in stone we are unable to guarantee their arrival or set up period.]
